RECYCLE bike ride for organ donation

Calling all cyclists to take part in “RECYCLE”…a very special 103 mile bike ride taking place on Sunday 6th July, starting at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital or Ysbty Glan Clwyd (Bodelwyddan)

In support of National Transplant Week, 7th-13th July, a team of specialist doctors and nurses from the Betsi Cadwaldr Organ Donation Committee is asking people to sign up to the RECYCLE bike ride on Sunday 6th July. Riders can start at Wrexham Maelor Hospital (69 mile route) or Ysbyty Glan Clwyd (34 mile route) and will culminate together at Ysbyty Gwynedd to promote organ donation. Families and friends of donors and transplant recipients are welcome to join the event to remember organ donors and celebrate lives that have been saved. To sign up please visit www.recyclefororgandonation.com.

Recycle is working alongside the NHS charity for North Wales, Awyr Las, to support a bereavement suite appeal to raise money for new Bereavement Suites in North Wales' intensive care units to allow grieving families and end of life patients’ privacy during the time of their bereavement.
